Along with integrating the CRM Bitrix24 into the client's processes, an important task remains providing technical support and administration of the corporate portal.
A client, a federal logistics company, turned to us with such a task. The customer portal employs over 400 people from all time zones of Russia.
Keeping the portal running smoothly is one of the priority tasks for the client.
As part of the technical support of the corporate portal a number of complex works were carried out.
Due to unstable and slow operation of the current server, the portal did not meet the requirements of normal operation.
A mutual decision was made to move the portal to more high-performance equipment.
To accelerate the work of the corporate portal, the client prepared a new server with an updated hardware configuration.
We configured the environment and migrated the corporate portal to the new server.
One of the special features of the client's corporate portal is a fairly large amount of data, which led to unstable operation of the backup system built into Bitrix24. Given these features, we modified the backup scheme and had to abandon the creation of backups using the tools of Bitrix24 and use a third-party backup software - BackupManager. In addition a backup of configuration files of the environment was configured.
In order to reduce losses when restoring from a backup, it was decided to back up every 2 hours. To reduce the cost of this process, an incremental backup of the database was set up.
Bitrix24 was synchronized by setting up the "AD/LDAP integration" module. This procedure allowed to synchronize AD users in Bitrix24, and also simplified user management and authorization.
For authorization in the portal, users use the same login details that they use to log in to the enterprise network.
Regular corporate portal update allows to keep it up to date and use the latest versions of modules to work. At the same time, updating can be followed by technical problems.
Regular updating is performed first on a test server. During the update, the work of the main functions of the portal, business processes and applications are checked according to the check regulations.

As a result of technical support works, the client has received a stable operating corporate portal, and all arising technical problems are solved as quickly as possible by our staff.
